Content rules · no account needed

What may be sold here.

You sell to your own audience, on your own Stripe account, and you are the merchant of record. These are the limits that come with using dropp.ing to do it, and what happens when something crosses them.

Who these rules bind

Everyone with a page here. They apply to what you sell, to what you put on your page, and to the files, sessions, courses and memberships you deliver through it.

They also apply on top of the rules of the company that processes your payments. Because the payment is created on your payment account, you accepted that company’s own agreement directly, and its list of restricted and prohibited businesses binds you whether or not it appears below. Where the two differ, the stricter one wins.

What may be sold

Things you make or provide yourself: digital files, lead magnets, appointments and coaching, webinars, courses, and memberships. Six product types, each delivered through the page you built.

The common thread is that a buyer pays a defined price for a defined thing, from the person who provides it.

What may not be sold

Sexual content and services. Sexually explicit material, pornography, nudity intended for sexual gratification, escort or companionship services, sexual chat, fetish services, and any content whose purpose is sexual gratification, including material generated by a machine. This rule has no exception, and it does not depend on the content being legal where you live.

Illegal, infringing and harmful content. Anything unlawful; counterfeit goods and pirated files; work you do not hold the rights to; phishing, malware and credential harvesting; content that targets, endangers or defames a person; anything involving a minor.

Money promises. Earnings claims, income testimonials, “get rich quick” or “financial freedom” offers, trading signals sold as a path to profit, and any pricing that leans on pressure rather than on the thing being sold. You may teach a skill. You may not promise what it will pay.

Moving money rather than selling something. Your page is a shop, not a transfer service. No open-value payments with no product attached, no passing funds to a third party, no stored balances, no cash-equivalent instruments. A tip is a payment to you for what you already publish, not a transfer to someone else.

Regulated and restricted trades. Anything requiring a licence you do not hold: financial advice, medical claims, medicines, weapons, drugs and substances, gambling, and the sale of followers, engagement or accounts.

This list is not exhaustive, and it changes as the rules of our payment partners change. What is written here is a floor, not a ceiling.

How this is applied

Two layers, and they catch different things.

Before publication, an automated check. Every new product and every creator page is put through a conformity check against these rules before it is served. It reads what is being sold, how it is described and what the page shows, and it flags what reads as prohibited for a decision.

After publication, people. Anyone can report a page, a shop or a link, with no account and without saying who they are, through the report form. It reaches the people who can suspend a page or a shop.

A removal is recorded with a reason, and the reason decides what happens to buyers who already paid. Four of them cut paid access immediately:

  • illegal: unlawful content
  • counterfeit: goods or files you do not hold the rights to
  • phishing: content built to steal credentials or money
  • harm to persons: content targeting or endangering someone

Two others, a commercial dispute or your own request to take something down, remove the item without cutting access already granted.

An account can be suspended, and a suspended account stops being served on every public path. The page, the shop and the short links all go dark at once.

What we do not do, and will not pretend to

The automated check is a filter, not a guarantee. It will miss things, and it will sometimes flag something harmless. That is why the reporting channel and the takedown procedure sit behind it rather than beside it: the check is the first pass, not the last word, and a page passing it is not a page we have endorsed.

No human reads every page before it goes live. Nothing here is reviewed by a lawyer either, which we say in full on the legal page.

The takedown reasons above also have no value yet for sexual content specifically: such a removal is recorded today under “illegal” or “harm to persons”. Adding the right reason needs a database migration, and until it exists this page says so rather than implying a precision we do not have.

What a removal does to a sale

Nothing, by itself. The payment was created on your payment account and you are the merchant of record, so a refund is yours to issue and a dispute is yours to answer. We can stop a page from being served; we cannot reach into a payment we were never a party to.

Which is the practical reason these rules matter to you and not only to us. The money consequences of breaking them land on your account, not ours.

If you think we got it wrong

Write to us and say so. A removal or a suspension is a decision made by people with incomplete information, and people with incomplete information are wrong regularly. We will tell you what was removed and why, and we will look again.
